THE ROLE
The Transportation and Customs Administrator partners with the Logistics Manager and Legends Global Carriers to coordinate global distribution to international warehouses, stores, event venues, and e-comm channel ensuring right product, right place, right time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities for the Transportation and Customs Administrator are as follows:
- Coordinate the global retail distribution for B2C and B2B channels, product import and export process, controlling logistics service partners contracted for distribution services. You will also liaise with the 3PL warehousing teams and carriers.
- Monitor carrier shipping cost and validate monthly invoices
- Coordinate documentation related to national and international shipments.
- Coordinate reverse logistics.
- Control logistic service partners through KPIs and regular reviews.
- Manage incidences related to product distribution in conjunction with warehouse teams, carriers, Customs and the international transportation team. Follow up any issues in line with agreed standards, contracts, and service level agreements.
- Support the business with daily discrepancy management, providing solutions and support.
- Other duties and projects as assigned and directed by the Manager of Logistics in Spain.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
At Legends Global, we are looking for an individual with the energy and desire to work in a fast paced and multi-channel retail trading environment where they have shown strong numerical and planning skills.
- A minimum of Three (3) years international distribution and warehouse experience within the sport events, FMCG or fashion industry goods.
- Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain desirable.
- Fluent both in English and Spanish.
- Analytical skills and the ability to work with international/multicultural teams.
- Excellent knowledge about international customs legislation.
- Supply Chain execution knowledge and strong business orientation.
- Gets things done, delivers to highest of standards and takes responsibility. Autonomy.
- Strong IT skills particularly Excel.
- The ability to assimilate new systems and reporting tools.
