About the Venue
Since its opening, Utilita Arena Newcastle quickly established itself as a superb venue and major Northeast landmark, alongside the Tyne Bridge, Angel of the North, and Hadrian's Wall. With capacity to host 11,000+ guests, we have welcomed millions of visitors to concerts, exhibitions, conferences, and world class sporting events.
About the Role
As a Casual Premium/VIP Host, you will deliver exceptional service across our Premium Lounges and Suites, ensuring a luxury guest experience from pre-event set-up to the final guest departure. You will be the face of the arena for our VIP guests, creating an atmosphere of exclusivity, professionalism, and excellence.
Responsibilities
· Ensure Premium Lounges and Suites are immaculately prepared and presented prior to events.
· Provide a professional and personalised welcome for all VIP and hospitality guests.
· Anticipate guest needs, delivering seamless and discreet service throughout events.
· Liaise with catering, bar, and security teams to maintain smooth and exclusive operations.
· Consistently deliver a VIP, 5-star service that exceeds guest expectations and enhances the prestige of the Premium experience.
About you
· Polished, confident, and professional when engaging with VIP and high-profile guests.
· Strong customer service skills, with experience in luxury, hospitality, or live events.
· Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for presentation and guest experience.
· Calm, solutions-focused, and adaptable under pressure.
· A collaborative team player, able to work seamlessly with catering, bar, and event staff.
