About the Role
The Partnership Sales Manager will support the execution of Legends ASM’s UK partnership sales strategy by identifying, developing, and securing high-value, long-term brand partnerships across our UK venue portfolio. This role is vital to delivering annual commercial revenue targets by generating new business, developing tailored partnership proposals, and working collaboratively across multiple internal teams to bring compelling rights-led opportunities to market.
You will work directly with the Partnerships Sales Director to implement a proactive sales strategy, driving revenue through creative packaging of partnership assets including naming rights, IP associations, hospitality programs, and integrated brand activations.
What we can offer
- Support the achievement of annual partnership sales revenue targets through proactive outbound activity and smart sales execution.
- Generate new leads and opportunities across priority categories through strategic outreach, industry networking, and creative prospecting.
- Lead the full sales cycle for partnership opportunities – from initial prospecting, through to proposal development, pitch delivery, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Work closely with the Partnerships Director and Strategy team to develop and deliver tailored, insight-driven commercial proposals aligned to the client’s brand and marketing objectives.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline ensuring consistent activity, progress tracking, and accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Strategy, Activation, Creative, Legal) and venue teams to craft innovative rights packages and high-quality sales materials.
- Support the execution of go-to-market strategies that explore new rights, categories, and commercial opportunities within the portfolio.
- Develop effective internal relationships across venue and functional teams to understand venue-specific needs and potential inventory.
- Represent Legends ASM in client meetings, industry events, and partnership discussions with professionalism, insight, and enthusiasm.
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to activation teams post-contract signing to guarantee best-in-class partner onboarding and delivery.
- Achieve weekly KPIs around outreach activity, meetings, and sales progression.
- Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to the UK Partnerships Sales Director and SVP Commercial.
We are looking for someone with:
- A proven background in sales, ideally with sports, music or events partnership experience.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales targets.
- Experience managing a high-volume sales pipeline and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align client needs with ASM Global’s portfolio assets and audience value.
- Self-starter who is comfortable with prospecting, proactive outreach, and opening new categories through initiative and perseverance.
- Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills, with a creative and strategic mindset.
- A collaborative approach and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple internal teams and stakeholders.
- Personable with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; confident engaging senior client stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Highly motivated, target-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment.
- Organised, self-sufficient, and capable of managing workload effectively across multiple projects.
- Positive, adaptable, and comfortable with occasional travel and flexible hours in line with client needs and event schedules.
