PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Mestalla is the irrigation ditch that unites our stadiums. It gives its name to the old stadium and also runs through the new one. It not only connects the past and the future, but is a symbol of continuity, keeping the essence and tradition of the club alive. Thus, the Nou Mestalla will not only be the stadium of the future but also show the legacy of our history. A stadium designed for all types of events, with first-class VIP experiences and a huge variety of spaces available, with which to elevate the city of Valencia to the next level.

As an extension of the Valencia CF team, our sales experts will work diligently with Valencia CF management and staff to create custom solutions and programs that drive record breaking revenue for the opening of the Nou Mestalla. THE ROLE
The VIP Sales Manager will be responsible for training, developing and managing a VIP hospitality sales team focused on revenue generation for the Nou Mestalla. This role will serve as the day-to-day lead for premium sales strategy, execution, and leadership. Together with their sales team, Legends management team, and key stakeholders, this position will execute complex sales campaigns, attend sales center appointments, host special events, close VIP seating deals, run dynamic training sessions, and create a best-in-class culture centered around results and personal & professional improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the VIP Sales Manager’s responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a best-in-class premium sales team responsible for selling multi-year contractual agreements for VIP seats in the Nou Mestalla.
- Develop and coach the sales team to consistent success while holding the team accountable to their daily and weekly appointment and revenue goals.
- Create and inspire a culture of results, personal & professional growth, and collaboration.
- Sell multi-year boxes, loge, and VIP seats to current VIP clients, C-Level executives and/or key decision makers of corporations, as well as to any other Valencia CF passionate fans, via outbound sales calls, face-to-face appointments, and presentations.
- Lead the planning and implementation of all outbound sales efforts, including lead scoring & assignment, product launches, campaign design & management, and experience center events for all premium leased products.
- Design and direct the B2B and B2C prospecting strategies to cultivate new sales leads, execute outbound premium campaigns, and surpass revenue targets.
- Collaborate with key club stakeholders and Legends management team to plan and implement sales and premium brand driven marketing campaigns.
- Execute and lead dynamic sales presentations and special events for current and prospective clients.
- Lead an efficient and effective contracting and invoicing process for all premium products.
- Collaborate with the CRM team to maintain accurate customer and prospective customer records in our database and distribute leads in an efficient and strategic manner.
- Provide consistent reporting information by maintaining accurate daily, weekly, and overall updates of sales pacing, outbound metrics, touchpoint campaigns, and event recaps.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required - Business, Marketing or similar degree (B.A.) from a four-year college, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years in sales experience, preferably in premium seating in the sports & entertainment industry
- Minimum of 2+ years of sales team leadership, hiring, training, development, etc. with demonstrated success.
- History of top premium/B2B and B2C revenue production for a sports and/or entertainment organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
- Skilled in setting and running sales meetings, with ability to effectively pitch and present premium products.
- Deep knowledge of the corporate sector and demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the market.
- Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and have a team-first mentality.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, events and holidays as required.
- Language skills: Spanish and English are required, Valencià is a plus.
