About the Venue
Voted Best New Venue in the World 20a14 at the Stadium Business Awards, First Direct arena has played host to some incredible artists since opening in September 2013, including Sir Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Bublé, Sports Personality of the Year, Gary Barlow, Prince, Miley Cyrus, Le Tour De France Grand Depart, John Bishop, Championship Boxing, Queen + Adam Lambert, Fleetwood Mac, Premier League Darts, Neil Young, Bette Midler, Drake, Morrissey, The Eagles, Pharrell Williams, John Legend, The MOBO Awards, and Mumford and Sons.
The Arena’s unique "super theatre" style configuration is designed to enhance the arena experience, with all seats facing the stage and high-quality acoustics providing the best sound experience in the UK. Spectators and performers alike will enjoy a more intimate atmosphere with reduced viewing distances inside the 13,781-capacity venue.
About the Role
Our Marketing Executives are vital for our success, they support all areas for marketing and communications with an emphasis on; driving ticket sales, maximising opportunities for the sale of premium products, working with venue partners to fulfil their requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: This role will require full flexibility to work across Evenings and Weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the ticketing process for events at the venue from agreeing the manifest with the promoter to event day delivery.
- Recruit casual team members and provide them with assistance, training, and guidance to ensure that rotas and payroll are administered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provide accurate and timely ticket sales updates to promoters and designated venue personnel.
- Liaise with promoters and the venue ticketing partners to assist with putting new shows on sale.
- Ensure that the ticket office is fully prepared on an event day including the collation of agent lists, checking seating, and testing entry scanners.
- Act as main liaison with the promoter rep on selected event days, agreeing final sales figures and ensuring that guest lists are managed correctly.
- Liaise with other departments, particularly Events, Finance, and Hospitality providing information and insight about events and ticket sales.
You will have:
- Good knowledge of the ticketing project cycle gained from a similar role or business – Desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills.
- Demonstrable experience of building relationships and cross collaborating with teams.
- Proven IT experience including MS Office packages.
