Senior Sales Executive – Membership and Hospitality
Olympia is undergoing a period of change. In 2017, the venue was bought by a consortium led by Yoo Capital and Deutsche Finance international. Work is currently underway to transform the wider estate into a cultural hub of which Olympia Events will be the central part. As part of Olympia’s exciting evolution, we are introducing the Live Lounge—a versatile, multi-experiential space designed primarily as a private members' club. In addition, it will provide exclusive hospitality experiences for live events across the Olympia estate.
The Live Lounge will feature a tiered membership model, providing a variety of benefits, including private dining and premium food and beverage packages. Members will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets for theatre performances, music events, and other live entertainment across the estate.
Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Membership Manager you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new premium live lounge members as well as delivering hospitality experiences that align with Olympia’s launch plan and strategic goals. You will be a highly motivated and results-orientated sales professional with strong knowledge of premium membership programmes, luxury services and the hospitality industry. You will possess a deep understanding of market trends and competitive landscapes to cultivate key relationships and drive revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the Memberships Manager to implement a sales strategy to drive new membership sign-ups.
- Identify target markets for membership programmes, including individual, corporate, and VIP clients.
- Maximise revenue opportunities and ensure sell out for all agreed premium membership and hospitality experiences.
- Deliver and execute membership and hospitality sales to deliver your agreed targets.
- Cultivate and develop key relationships within a HNWI network, corporate and consumer marketplace.
- Promote membership benefits, ensuring prospects understand the value and exclusive opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Create proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Work with the Membership Manager to execute strategies to support business objectives and maximise awareness for all guest experiences.
- Manage the full membership sales cycle, from lead generation to closing sales and onboarding new members.
- Create sales collateral, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and pitch decks.
- Deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to potential clients and ensure timely follow ups.
- Utilise various lead generation methods including referrals, networking, cold calling, and digital marketing to identify new business opportunities.
- Attend events, networking functions, and industry-related conferences to establish connections and increase visibility for the membership and hospitality offerings.
- Track and report on sales activity, including leads, sales pipeline, and closed deals, using CRM tools.
- Work positively and collaboratively with colleagues across Olympia Estates Services to ensure all work and efforts are aligned to the wider destination opportunities.
- Develop sales presentations and proposals tailored to potential clients and ensure timely follow-ups.
Person specification
- Demonstrated experience of high level premium hospitality sales.
- Proven experience of delivering and exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven delivery of successful sales strategies.
- Proven experience of hospitality trends and market place.
- Proven experience in managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling sales messaging.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute plans that align with business objectives.
- Ability to work under pressure and navigate fast-paced environments.
- The ability to work autonomously.
- A committed team player.
- A high level of integrity and an ability to be discrete and tactful with due respect for confidentiality.
